[Updated] - Progress Update for 04/10/2025 - COTH, Parkway Medical Group, Libby's, and Prayer
*Update on Friday (04/11/2025): Even with going back to the Pure Encapsulations digestive enzymes, I’m still having GI problems but not nearly as bad as when I took the NOW brand and for that I’m thankful 🙏; It will probably just take some time on the Pure enzymes to get everything working correctly again; I’ll be seeing a specialist at the Center For Colon and Digestive Disease on June 9th, 2025 if not sooner. Also, I removed the ChatGPT generated “sob story” as it was just for fun and I didn’t want anyone getting confused by it.
Sunday (04/06/2025) I started off the week by going to church at Faith Chapel for the morning service and then to Church of the Highlands (COTH) for the evening service with my Dad and friend Aaron. I was a great night at COTH! I really enjoyed experiencing the presence of Holy Spirit during worship and hearing Pastor Chris Hodges sermon on the Lord’s COMEBACK story for you when you’ve been knocked down by just about everything in life - I really needed to hear this message! I've been knocked down by a lot of things this year (haha). I remember back in late 2023 to about mid 2024, I could only go to very few church services because of all my health conditions so I honestly consider it both an honor and privilege to be able to attend any service now! Thank you DAD, Jesus, and Holy Spirit for giving me the strength to go to your House!
Monday (04/07/2025) my Mom and I went up to my primary, Dr. Richard Cline, at Parkway Medical Group in Fayetteville, TN as I’m still having lower GI problems; also, she drove there as I still can’t drive yet. I talked with NP Caitlin about what’s been going on with my GI and the weight loss I’ve experienced even after being off of chemotherapy since January and Avastin since March 5th. Caitlin also noted that I had lost about 20 pounds since having seen her last so that helped her get the conversation moving in the right direction for a referral to a GI specialist to see what’s causing my intestines to not absorb the food I’ve eaten but rather, eject it. After finishing my appointment, eating my packed lunch in my car, taking my NOW digestive enzymes, and hitting the road back to the house, it became quickly apparent that nothing had really been digested in my stomach, and so my Mom and I went on a wild ride to both find and make unexpected bathroom stops where I had explosive diarrhea.
Anyways, that got me thinking the next day (It was really DAD who brought this to my attention), I’ve been charting everything I’ve been taking and eating since about last summer (2024) and I noticed a trending downturn in both my GI problems and having to take more equate imodium (almost every other day) when I switched to the cheaper NOW digestive enzymes so I switched back to the Pure Encapsulations brand and it’s really helped my GI problems! I’m still planning on going to see a GI specialist at the Center For Colon and Digestive Disease. Prayerfully, I can get in soon 🙏.

Today (04/10/2024) was another great Thursday with my Dad running some errands in Morgan county. We:
Checked the mailbox ✔️
Visited Mr. Ray & Mrs. Gracie ✔️
Went by Health In Hand ✔️
I signed my taxes and got the paperwork back ✔️
and then we ended the day eating at the World Famous Libby’s in Priceville, AL - known for their Catfish; my Dad and I both got the Catfish plate with 2 Catfish & 2 sides and it was….really great! 10/10 if you’re in the area. There’s a giant cross right across from it, can’t miss it. ✔️
Last, but not least so far this week, Holy Spirit really helped me pray with:
Monday (04/07/2025) J.P. as he was working in Walmart. I had to fight with myself to pray for J.P. as this was later in the afternoon after I had a really bad day, but I wanted to be obedient to Holy Spirit and not my flesh.
Tuesday (04/08/2025) Mr. Gary as he was shopping in Walmart. He really thanked me 👍.
Today (04/10/2024) Two separate families at Libby’s in Priceville, AL. A lady from the first family I prayed with came over to me as they were about to leave and really thanked me for praying for them as her son had recently passed away, and it genuinely blessed her that I had prayed for the family. It’s moments like this that make me want to keep asking Holy Spirit for more boldness to pray for others ☝️.
Bonus: Also, if you like coding and C#, in my spare time I’ve been working on a C# WPF Desktop App that allows the user to select a folder on their PC and then either selected one or multiple folders on their external drives and it will gather up the files on the PC folder selected and then compare them to the external drive folder(s). If any files are missing in the external folder(s), it will only copy the files the external folder(s) are missing from the PC folder. I originally got the idea as I have thousands of pictures on my PC and didn’t want to manually back up my external drives every time I updated my PC picture folder.
