A big Thank You to everyone who's given, Clarification on ChatGPT, Fried Tilapia, UAH Battle of the Buffalo + Prayer
Good morning! I wanted to start off this post by saying a really big THANK YOU!!! to everyone who’s given financially to support me buying Pure Encapsulations: Digestive Enzymes Ultra with Betaine HCL! Wow, I really did not expect any of this and I’m really just thanking DAD for having such great friends that want to help me through this journey! I will be sending out thank you cards soon as a small token of my great appreciation 🙏.
Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)
A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.
Now because of the great generosity, I wanted to make sure there was some clarification on my part: “Sorry, I couldn’t come up with a good sob story so I asked ChatGPT for help:” - The block quote in green under that text was just for fun as ChatGPT is an AI that will generate a story if you give it some text, and I put in the brand names and prices and it generated that “sob story”. I apologize if there was any confusion on that story and the real situation I’m in; If you were confused by it and would like your money back, please send me an email or text and I’ll get it back ASAP. Also, ChatGPT is how I generate most of the pictures seen on here. You can find ChatGPT here: chatgpt.com.
I generated the story just for fun as I’d rather have a laugh at my situation, thinking about all the past sob stories I’ve read where people were just begging for money, than another breakdown over being under weight by ~20 pounds, GI problems, and brain cancer. In summary, everything in the green block quote was generated but everything else is real and ongoing. I also updated the post to reflect this:
After eating at Libby’s, I started wondering if I could also fry up some Tilapia but with Almond Flour instead of regular All-Purpose-It’s-Been-Bleached-With-Real-Bleach-To-Make-It-That-White-Flour. So this past Friday (04/11/2025) & Saturday (04/12/2025) I set out on a journey of creating a recipe that was both borrowed from the internet and changing it because it didn’t have enough seasoning. I officially call it “Andrew’s Batterer-Baked-Fried-Tilapia.” And here are the results:

I think it’s technically KETO and if you’d like the recipe either leave a comment or send me an email 👍. It turned out really good for only two attempts, and I’ll probably try it out again with both Cod and Catfish. I know, I know, “dirty” fish, but when you’ve been eating fish for about 9 months straight you have to throw in a little variation. Honestly, I can’t imagine manna for 40 years!
This past Saturday (04/12/2025), my Dad and I went down to Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville, AL to get out of the house and also exercise through walking and feeding the coy fish and ducks delicious dry cat food (The bag said it helps build strong bones). When we got there, we ended up at the tail end of an event we didn’t know was going on called “Battle of the Buffalo” put on by the UAH fraternity Alpha Tau Omega. The event was a fundraising campaign for helping cure cancer (I think) with CCI through selling chicken wings 👍. They’ve been doing this since 2009 in honor of one of their fraternity brothers who really loved chicken wings but passed away in 2007 from cancer. We ran into Nathan & Allyson, and their children enjoying the event and Allyson said it was very crowded around noon when it started 👍. Great to see y’all! Unfortunately, I couldn’t partake in any of the wings as I had no digestive enzymes with me but my Dad had me covered and didn’t let any go to waste! (haha)

While walking around the park, I got to thank: DeShaun, Shaun, Preston, Mark, another Mark, and Grant (not pictured), members of Alpha Tau Omega for their personal help in raising money and share with them a brief part of how I’m currently receiving treatment at CCI for brain cancer so this is an issue that I’m walking through right now; I’m grateful of how these men gave of their time to help support a worthy cause. Next, I got to ask if I could pray with them and they all said yes! No hesitation! (haha) So I prayed for finals, recalling what they had studied, life direction, relationships, getting through college, but most importantly that they would know the great love of Jesus for them and the celebration of His Resurrection! Also, I prayed with Grant, at his request, that Jesus would be known in Greek Row there at UAH! Amen. It makes me think back to when I was in college and there at the end of 2016 I turned back to Jesus, and He started back the sanctification process and will continue it until I’m home with Him, DAD, and Holy Spirit 🙏. My Dad and I finished off the day by going to Walmart where I picked up some frozen Atlantic Salmon, bag of Avocados, garlic hummus, and then invited a guy to our church while we were standing in line to check out ✔️. Amen.

Double hoodie day as I’m waiting on DAD to help me recover my weight ✔️
